I love you, you love me, we’re one, big, happy family

Last night, my Beloved arrived home late, after a long, hard day.  I gave him a hug.  I kept hugging him with my back to the children.  He started talking to them, going in order around the table:  “Daddy loves FM#3.  Daddy loves the DP.  Daddy loves FM#2.  Daddy loves FM#1.”  End of his comments.

FM#3 was not happy.  “And Daddy woves Mommy.”

My Beloved: “Yes,  Daddy loves Mommy.”

FM#3, with great glee in his voice:  “And Mommy woves Daddy.”

Glad we got that sorted out. ;-)

  1. These are the times to remember when you are cleaning up yet another mess or breaking up another fight or repeating for the umpteenth time how to say the letter “f”. Oh yeah, you don’t have to do that last one anymore. ;-)

  2. Yes, Daddy loves Mommy and Mommy loves Daddy makes the world a happy, safe place.

Doesn’t it break your heart to hear of divorce?

  3. You gave me credits! How very sweet!
